Fort King George

Built in the 1700s, Fort King George has an excellent view of the ocean and coast from the high views of the of the south side of the island. I plan on visiting " The islands best preserved monuments ", which is completed with a prison, barracks , and also cannons that are postioned over the cliffs, along with an arts center and the Tobago Museum, with its collection of antique maps and American artifacts.

All of the Fort's prisoners cell's, bell tank, barracks and officers mess are placed within very groomed ground. As you make your way to the Fort, you will see hr olf Forts prison cells, which have been changed into offices and then youll see the Scarborough Hospital facilities of present day. " Many of the cannons are still placed in the same postion as they were in the past, watching and Protecting the coastline, Scarborough, Rockley Bay and the harbour.
